Grandview Care is the philanthropic product and vision of Guy Neil and Laverne Ramsey. After 50 successful years in the building, construction and real estate industry, their dream was to give something back to the communities in which they thrived. In addition, they wanted to create an organization that would not only sustain itself, but would perpetuate itself for the benefit of all future generations to come. Grandview Care was formed in April, 2000 to provide affordable independent housing, healthcare services and assisted living services to the elderly, the needy and other disadvantaged persons. In February 2001, Grandview Care was duly recognized as a publicly supported organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Since then, Guy Neil and Laverne Ramsey’s “grand view” has provided over 700 affordable apartment units and nearly 300 licensed skilled nursing and assisted living beds throughout Indiana and Kentucky. Their vision ensures that affordable housing and healthcare is available to elderly and low-income citizens thereby preserving the quality and integrity of life for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. |
